Day of the Beads

The owner of the LYS where I sell my stitch markers said she would take as many as I could give her before I go overseas. So I thought I'd better get cracking on some!

Here are a few of the markers I've made this morning:

Once they're all done my beading is going to be packed away - no beads for a year!!

I have been the delighted owner of a set for a while now, and the very best use for them is when you have to cast on a lot of stitches - put in every 20 stitches they save a LOT of recounting and worry. If you are left-handed (as I am), casting on untwists some yarns, making the stitches very hard to count.
Get them out there - every knitter should have a set!

Looooooovely stitch markers.

I've recently been given my 1st beaded set and they will come in very handy when I cast on the next section of the baby shawl that I've been knitting in sections the last few years.
