Wonderful evil socks

I have finally managed to beat these socks into submission. The yarn is divine and I love the colour. I thoroughly enjoyed knitting them all the way to the cuff which took me longer than the rest of the sock and was frogged about five times. That's what you get when you knit socks from a nebulous pattern in your head...

Detail of the notorious cuff.

They're beautiful! I love the mix of colors and the edging on the cuff. Very impressive. May I ask what the yarn is?

The yarn is Elizabeth sock yarn in Antique Rose shade from live2knit-shop.blogspot.com she also does some gorgeous silk yarns.

Postage is fairly pricey but the yarn is not too dear so it balances out, especially if you buy more than one skein.

Very colourful. They will be warm this winter. Have you knitted the other one?

Caught me out! It's on the needles as we speak though :-)

P.S. does anyone else have trouble reading the word verifications? They drive me nuts and how come I have to verify when commenting on my own blog????? (death to robots though)

Grrrr I was up to patt rpt 10 and found a mistake in patt rpt 3. And yes, being the perfectionist I am, I had to frog it even though no-one would ever spot it. Hey even I didn't spot it for two hours. These socks will never be finished :-(
